He has a compelling presence no matter what state of mind he is in. He has an innate immediacy that this now is the most important time even though the circumstances surrounding it may appear so mundane. People want to be there for him. It’s not easy though. What he asks is so simple that many want to embellish it and create their own constructs. It’s hard at times for us to keep up with him. Sometimes you are still figuring out a previous task and he is on to the next project. There is no place for ambiguity around him. — D.H.
He has an extreme intelligence to get to the heart of the matter. Having his attention zeroing in often triggers my own state of peace and tranquility. — T.G.
It’s ludicrous that Prem Rawat’s critics have accused him of a life of idleness and luxury. Nothing could be further from the truth. He is as equally at home in a hotel as well as Spartan camping surrounds. He is constantly planning to do more for less as he keeps in touch with family, friends and his students. He manages to have a break from his constant travels towards the end of each year. Of late he has been traveling to smaller locations out of the major world cities. — G.L.
He is straight forward and encouraging when he talks to you. Sometimes when I push too hard to get things done and forget that I am here to enjoy this life. His clear and precise advice helps to turn things around. He reminds me that I am the one to do it. The choice is always mine. — W.S.
Being around Prem Rawat I have observed someone who not only has a passion for life in its essence but also wants to share it with others. His vision is expansive. His encouragement endless. He creates a compelling future for those who want to part of it. — M.R.
Prem Rawat is not a past figure of history he is here now. He is still applying the paint to the canvas of his life. His life is a work in progress. I have a strong sense there is much more to come. I will take great delight in seeing it unfold. — R.F.
It’s not possible in a few words to convey the breadth of Prem Rawat’s achievements or, indeed, what he has to offer in the context of peace. While we tend to look first to institutions to bring peace, Prem Rawat says we need to first and foremost look within. His message is original and profound. — P.M.
It’s not ideas or concepts he has given me – he has shown me how to feel something inside. He has a mastery over reminding me about it. The reminder comes in different ways. It can be listening to his message, participating in his work in some small way, or enjoying it directly. He is a friend I can never repay for the gift he has given me. It seems that anyone has the possibility to have this gift as well yet my experience is so deeply personal. The very first time I thanked him, I felt a simple feeling of acceptance between us. It was like no big deal. This is what I do. This is what you wanted. Now enjoy it. — A.T.
